Hi there Dave and co.

As per my callsign, I am from the Australian Bunker & Military Museum (www.abmm.org.au). A lot of our work centres on sites formerly used by the RAAF and USAAC/F here in Queensland. We have a lot of historical air photos as well as photos which we have taken on various field archaeology expeds all over Queensland. Some sites which come to mind are: Archerfield, Eagle Farm, Breddan, Charters Towers, Higginsfield, Cairns and Iron Range (incidentally, I'll be up at Iron Range starting 04 Nov for a week and then again for two weeks starting 19 Nov - VERY interesting place with lots of relics) to name but a few. I am happy to provide some of our imagery, airfield plans, current day photos and the like.

In the meantime, might I suggest you visit www.ozatwar.com for some further info on some of these North Queensland airfields? Shoot Peter Dunn an email and I'm sure he'll let you use some of his images for the project.

I reckon you guys are visionaries for starting what I hope will be an outstanding reference site.

I'll be adding you to the ABMM links page so hopefully some of our website traffic will become yours.

Cheers,

ABMM

Hi there!

I just released a bunch of the stuff you posted.  There was some stuff that duplicated what we already had so that stuff I did delete (the existing records had coordinates and the like with them).

Thanks for the contribution!  We really appreciate it!
