Greetings,
We have been involved in a project at the former Del Monte airfield on Mindanoa. If you want an idea of what we are doing, look at our webpage www.FighterFactory.com

We are in need of some help. This was an US Army Air Corps airfield before the war where B-17's could fly from. McArthur departed for Australia from here. The American government built some in ground hangars on the sides of some hills to work on aircraft. When the Japanese arrived, they took over the airfield and operated from there until the end of the war.

Does anyone know someone that was stationed there and assigned to this field before 1942 when the Japanese took it over. Even better, do you know of any photographs from this airfield.

Please contact us at (757) 490-3157 or email to EPY1@aol.com

Regards, Jerry Yagen
