I've started adding google earth locations to the site so you can see the places as they appear today.

My thanks to Justin Taylan from PacificWrecks.com for this great idea!

In order to use this feature you will need to download Google Earth (it's free!).  You can find it at: http://earth.google.com/download-earth.html

You can see how these features will work on the following airfields:

Lae
Wakde
Nadzab No 1
Horanda

Enjoy!

Dave

I saved some GoogleEarth maps for Chofu, Atsugi, etc.
How do I add them?

If you go to the airfield in the database you find a spot that after the"contributed by" that will allow you to "add  google earth".  If you don't let me know.
